No. He signed a contract at those terms. If he wants to earn the really big money, all he has to do is hand a transfer request in. Until he does that, he can 'make do' on the terms he previously agreed to. Life has a tendency to be a woman like that!

'all he has to do' is put himself up as public enemy number one for everyone eager to woman about 'greed'. he has a family, an extended family, friends. Fair enough Everton gave him the chance in the Premiership, but he's a Wolves fan, so if Shrek can hand in a transfer request - once a blue, always a blue - then I'm sure Lescott can... if he wants too!
For some reason i'd be more gutted about him not coming than most, probably because as we all know it was our weakest area last season and desperately needs strengthening.
However it's up to Lescott now - either hand in the request, or let's move on to another target.
