Excellent article, i suggest you read it as quite clearly some of your fans need reminding of who you were on Aug 30th 2008.

Yeah Moyes is priceless. Fantastic manager. Just curiouswhy so many Everton fans were calling for his head at start of last season.. So over-rated IMO and I will be surprised if Everton finish in the top 8 this season.

LOL.

Good on Moyes and Everton for choosing principles over having the finances to strengthen several positions. I'm sure if Lescott picks up an injury early in the season it will delight all your supporters to know that his principles came before the good of your playing squad. We were in a very similar position to yourselves when we sold SWP to Chelsea. Most of our supporters were honest enough to admit that if that money was pumped back into the squad, it would be a tough decision, but the right one...

As for our fans needing reminding of where we were a year or so ago. Not many of us do. If I were an Everton fan though, I'd be embarrassed at some of the jealous meanderings of the Evertonians in this thread...

Principles my arse. Moyes will ditch Everton as soon as Ferguson steps down, and probably take Lescott with him for less than we're prepared to pay. Sad thing is, you poor deluded fools can't see it.

I just don't get all this Moyes to the rags talk. I fail to see what he has actually achieved..

We were the same club we are now, just able to operate in different ways. Quite clearly some of your supporters need reminding how modern football works - you buy players, you sell players and there is no requirement to get as self righteous and precious as some of your supporters have been on here.

Anyone else noticed how some of the charming Evertonians seem to come on the board, post some snide little remark, and then fuck off for a few hours...clearly WUM's with no interest in debate - just a jealousy driven need to try and score points...very very sad.
