Getting through to the knockout stages of the champions league gets in £20million in revenue.

Therefore Lescott for £26million (negotiated price) would be a good deal if it gets us in top 4.

without the £26million spend we don't get in top 4 (in my eyes)

You won't be getting into the Top 4 with him anyway

LOL, looks like they've changed their method of defence now.

Well YOU lot certainly won't, and for more than one reason.

Says on the SSN transfer clockwatch that Lescott has handedin a transfer request. But Everton rejected it...

Let this be on record - Lescott will never play for City. He will remain at Everton this season and probably sold to Arsenal next season

I agree with the first part. The fact Moyes, for the third time now, has said on the statement he has 'no intention' of selling any players, shows you're right. It has gone way too far for him to do it now. It will go one of 2 ways, he'll stay as is more likely, or Kenwright will sell him under Moyes' nose, Moyes will get the hump and resign and Everton's season will end before its begun. That is 100% not going to happen though. To say its time to move on has been an understatement from the day Moyes said he won't sell. Like I said before I kind of admire him for not buckling.

But but but but I thought he didn't want to come here anyway?

Take your complete lack of knowledge and shove it up your arse.

Then fuck off.

Err, you are aware that there's FUCK ALL chance of Arsenal giving you anything like the £18m you've already rejected right? Everton aren't in a position where they can simply throw away millions of pounds.

If everton want to play hard ball then we should recall Jo.

Fuck them... why should we strenthgen their side when they are acting like twats. Get him back and loan him to one of their rivals instead.

Completely agree 100% with what you have said.we have loaned them a striker who was once our transfer record. We are no doubt paying some of his wages 'cos the Toffees are so piss poor and yet they haver been complete bastards all summer. I am proud about the way we have quietly gone about out business this summer. But now the time has come for there to be no more Mr nice guy and just be ruthless about this.

AND I REITERATE.........Sigh. As previously discussed, with any loan over 93 days (3 months) a recall is not permitted. Jo is Everton's player until the season ends, whether City, or Everton, like it or not.
