I'll stick up for anyone I feel needs the support, They may not be City supporters, they may be, but the fact of the matter is some people are getting excess abuse for comments made in the heat of the moment, I'm all for a bit of banter, but 3 pages of abuse is rediculous.

Listen i do like a read on ur site purely as uve won the lottery...think the Lescott thread ids better than most but seen city fans stating they wouldnt go over x amount...if i was a city fan and i wanted lescott i wouldnt be arsed if he cost £50 million they can afford it...its not that ur season ticket prices will go up

Unfortunately, those that have a price in their heads, dont make the decision at the end of the day, me included.

I dont care how much they cost, the manager will live and die by his choices and spending and if the chairman says ok, that will do for me.

It is still a dream to be honest with you mate, 30 years of watching the blues mainly struggle and now all this.

I for one am going to enjoy it

Id defo enjoy it.....i dont think hughes is your long term manager though.....i think if and when you do make champions league...you will go continental.....i think the way you have persued lescott is ruthless....i dont think hughes is behind it...i think he chose him then let the money men do the rest....hughes will go eventually

this forum is for ALL city fans and their opinion good,bad wrong or right, what it isnt for is everton fans to come on here telling us were a small club calling us knobheads and just generall slagging our club off, for as long as this goes on this will not be a happy place imo.

Everton a great club with real supporters and a superb manager with fans who know about football. Hope they do well and finish in the top 4 beneath us.

hughes definately isn't the 1 doing the haggling, but not many managers do get involved in that part these days , hence all the directors of football, and CEO's flying about, saying that fergie gets involved he even kidnapps players at airports

I don't want a forum for intellectuals or experts, what I would like is people to just think, even for just a second about what they are writing and the effects it might have, which, more often than not, exacerbates the problem.

We ahve a team that does the transfers mate, your right, Hughes says player A,B or C then they get on with it.

Our transfer strategy now is two fold, yes strenghen the team but we are also mindful of trying to weaken the teams around us and we are also raising the financial bar so that the teams in future will literally have to break the bank to try and compete.

Ruthless yes but we want to be the best, winner's are just that, because they dont take prisoner's

Football is a business and you have to do it, the days of building a side patiently have long gone im afraid.

As for MH, it's a big year and he knows it!
