talkSport have just said something like 'speculation is that Lescott is about to join Manchester City'
Would fit with Ric's ITK.
I'd be surprised if it was done that quickly though. Fingers crossed.

There are 27 days left in the transfer window and the majority of our business has been conducted well inside of it to the credit of the club.
Lescott is proving as the most elusive target after Terry.
Is it worth all the mither ? Good player, fits the bill, left foot footed CB, but he is not the only player on the market that would do a decent job for us. Some are saying that we have some decent players at the club and maybe McLovin ( sic) could come good for us, other media outlets are suggesting that we just need a old head who's got the experience of playing here before.. or even a player who shone in a relegation dog fight, anyone with Premier League experience good or bad. Whatever is decided we are now a major player in world football.. surely we are having a laugh with all this talk and we will sign a marquee player to fill the void , maybe Hughes is having a major laugh at Moyes, Redknapp expense in the meantime.
One thing is for sure .. if he plays TBH because of injurys anywhere across the back we may as well give them the win and go back to the pub !!!..

Just noticed on BBC sport website that Everton are in talks with Arsenal over Senderos moving. Is he Moyes idea of a replacement for Lescott?

Not a replacement apparently just back-up, quite a lot of money though for a 'back-up'.....................
