Lescott

Would Lescott still get cup snd league (not sure if he played enough games) medals if he left.

Recall years ago, someone needing his team to lose to his former team for him to get a medal.

Or my mind could be playing tricks.

Pretty sure it ten games Moomba either starting or used sub so he is fine on that score.

Also I think the manager has some discretion ala Fergie last year but perhaps that was a one off for the great piss head himself.

As for the Cups I think only the players on the day collect a medal but I may be wrong on that score as again the club in conjuction with the FA can reward a player at their discretion but I very much doubt that Lescott would get a medal for any Cup win if he left in January including a Chumps League medal.

Cheesey on Blue Tuesday said that his internal sources suggested City were lining someone up to replace JL.
his same sources said Negredo's injury wasn't serious - I hope they are pukka

ottamendi would make more sense a lot less money than mangala and can play numerous positions along the back line decent cover ..we could go for mangala in summer.

If we replace Lescott this window, we won't need to buy a CB next summer. Kompany, Demi and Nastasic will all be here next season IMO. And 4 is enough.

You don't spend 40 mill on mangala unless you are convinced nastasic is not a long term blue

We need a centre half that will help take us to the next level.

Our owners are serious about winning the Chumps League.

Nasti may have a long term future and the club but during the summer a class centre back that plays along side Kompany in the starting line up will be a priority.

Not sure if this has been posted in the middle of any thread this evening. Sounds like Joleon's on his way out;

40 seconds in; ''shame it's going to come to an end this season''. Thanks for the role you played in our title winning season Joleon, and good luck wherever you end up.

If he keeps playing like he did tonight maybe he'll be offered a one year extension ....

I'd love to have a one year deal with a option to extend like the Rags have been giving to their older players of late for him. Don't think it will happen sadly, yesterday I just felt a feeling of reassurance when i looked at the XI list and saw Kompany, Lescott at the back, they did not disappoint.
