Colwill is good but he is no Gvardiol. He is yet to make an England cap, only 16 apps in the Premier League as well.

I personally think in Europe the Bundesliga is the most complete. Spain is a two team league, Italy isn’t what it used to be.
Way more proven than Colwill, though, and as proven as a 21-year-old can be. People have too much of a PL bias here. Some of the best players in the world also play in La Liga or Bundesliga. Just because someone made 16 apps for a 6th team in the PL does not put them in the same category as arguably the best CB prospect in the world.The Bundesliga is entertaining but the quality is bang average at best. It's entertaining because the defending in general is an absolute circus.

I'm also basing my own opinion of seeing him play for Leipzig and Croatia 5 or so times over the last 12 months and him never standing out once.
