Yes I get that and of course that will be the decision of many. But what I’m saying, using Delap as an example is to give experience much younger and that can then perhaps be an incentive to stay and become better and then leave if they want.

He’d have got it if we weren’t brilliant and chasing titles and CLs.

Pearce would have called him a rough diamond and we’d have enjoyed seeing him develop.

We’re a different beast these days and Delap was never going to make it with us, barring an injury crisis whilst he was still with us.

I thought this after seeing his interview yesterday about his contract, then that spit-gobbing **** calling him disrespectful last night.

Can you imagine the absolute dogs abuse he’d get from that lot if he came here?
