I leave it here as the bait is very strong in this thread. Delap isn't what Chelsea need (or more importantly us). Delap's next move is vital.

Yep. So just because you understood what I wrote initially about clubs identifying talent also applies to Palmer, it doesn't take away from the point about Delap. Which was the one I made. On the Liam Delap thread. So maybe instead of just reiterating your position that others might disagree, maybe start elaborating a little bit. Or at least answer people on what they actually write

This is is first breakout season and it still not outstanding. Useful but not title winning standard.

Chelsea's intial recruitment happened to be scattergun rather than designed and they struck lucky with the way Palmer's transfer panned out. It could have easily ended up the same as his City career went.

I have told him repeatedly that this is about Liam Delap. And also that he is in no position knowing what Chelsea wants or needs

Haaland trumps the lot but he is a little exceptional more than the rule.
