Lidl / Aldi

Love the way they market their stuff to make it almost identical to the original. My mrs went ballistic when I bought back a packet of crumpets....she only has Warbies and these, apparantly as I picked them up, weren't Warbies....granted I didn't have my readers on but they looked like it to me, didn't taste like it though.
Prof. Peppards instead of Dr Peppers was another one that got me, brilliant.

Some crumpets taste vinegary warbys are the best ones IMO too.

Living up to my name here… Lidl’s Islay single malt. Goes under the brand name Ben Bracken.

£17 - half the price of the known brands - but tastes just the same. It must come from the same distilleries and I’d wager the contents are identical.

If Islay isn’t to your taste, they do Speyside and Highland malts too.

I do like these places but the checkouts stress me the fuck out. I can’t be dealing with having my shopping hurled at me by someone who is obviously a baseball pitcher in their spare time.

I know it’s how they cut costs and keep prices low but I just can’t cope with it.

The Aldi ‘specially selected’ pizzas are top notch though. The ones in the freezer are actually better than the fresh ones. Shame they’re not bigger though.
I made the mistake of dating a girl who works on a check-out at Aldi.

She gave me a hand-job last night, now I'm in A&E waiting to see if I can get it reattached.

Who do you think tried to create the notion that these two supermarkets were shit?

Aldi’s curries are the dogs bollocks. I’ve only tried the chicken jalfrezi n beg madras but they are both the business.
They are made by the same producer of Patak's
