Lol, sorry mate but the media over here have already started with how he's past his best, just at the very thought of him signing for us. Foreign media will be excited, but you will never get the majority of the British footballing press being positive about literally anything City do

Who was it that question our purchase of David Silva and Yaya.

might have been on the Sunday Supplement,

We’re not shipping away Jesus, that would be insane. He’s 23 years old, our future striker.
I hope you’re right, hopefully we’re not blinded by “It’s Messi” to let one of our future stars leave, one who could be here for the next 10 years.

Some sources are trying to flip it on Messi and even pinning it as some weird conspiracy theory about Pep helping rebuild his beloved club so he can go back there when the new board is appointed and they have a solid squad to work with.

Sport were the ones pushing Garcia + Cancelo for Semedo rumors for 3 months, so they are definitely clueless.

Re: Sport -- That absolutely smells like a "let's make some shit up but we have to use names that will be believable" tweet.

My current thoughts :

- I was wrong suggesting there was ‘zero chance’ this deal could happen when the news first broke.

- It would be amazing to sign Leo as he is still the worlds best player

- I don’t want Leo IF it means losing Jesus as that leaves us with with one striker (Kun) who we all know has injury issues which would be a ridiculous scenario to go into a season with. I also feel Gabby could be brilliant with Leo.

-We aren’t going to have any news until next week when Jorge (Leo’s father) arrives in Catalonia.

- I am still very sceptical this will happen and feel it’s much more likely that Leo will stay.

Mahrez is the only player I could sacrifice for this deal to happen. We don’t have a young and hungry striker if we ship out Jesus, only Agüero who could perform another 2-3 years tops. Bernardo is a special special player and I would never let him go.

If the club let go of any of Jesus or Bernardo, I would be so pissed. And honestly I don’t care if it’s Messi. We have to think about the future as well.

She's saying a player is key to negotiations between Barça and City, and the player is indeed Jesus, valued by City at €100m.

I'll probably get slammed but I really don't want Jesus to be part of the deal. He's such a unique forward and probably the type of striker who Messi would love playing with.
