I think Messi let the board know what he was thinking prior to the Bayern defeat

you’re just winding yourself up with the the other point. The board yes the club and the fans, no.

barca thought tapping up Garcia was a clever move. Getting him for free probably had them on their backs laughing at City.

What goes around comes around.

I hope barca have to pay compensation and a sell on clause into Garcia contract whilst we get Messi for free btw
 
I’m not sure anyone knows how this will play out. A drawn out affair in the courts will effectively dent our plans. The best thing is some sort of deal with Barca. I believe that we are positioned to take appropriate action when we can, but at present this is not our fight. Hoping for a resolution because this is the biggest fish out there and the best footballer I have ever seen live or on tv. Ever.. This is immense.

BBC just trying to make a joke of the deal. If Messi was close to the Dippers or the Rags - the planned tv programmes would be cancelled and a Messi to the Rags/Dippers documentary would be shown. I’m starting to despise the BBC.
