A happy looking Leo, content to see out his contract is a totally different video to a dejected looking man, obviously forced into a decision. They will be both be received differently and potentially lead to different outcomes.
 
Given Messi Senior’s statement and the fact he hasn’t been to training all week, I’d say Messi staying at Barca is the least likely of all possible scenarios. All the crap being spouted about him staying just indicates the desperate position Barca and La Liga find themselves in. Cool heads are needed and all will be well - Messi is City bound:)

The lawyers that drafted the contract told Messi he could leave. You don't get more "horse's mouth" than that. But anyway, this is a circus now. City won't pay a fee and nobody seems willing to call Barca's bluff. Pity. But that looks like an impasse.
 


still think it's bullshit? oddly specific bullshit.

best we can hope for is that this is part of the plan, and he's making it clear he wants to leave but can't. but it seems likely that he has, indeed, bottled it.

And the same with Sanchez. Some posters will just not be reasoned with. Anyone who can follow news can see he is staying at this point.
