It's remarkable the connection and friendship Messi forged with El Pistolero. Even when Neymar was still here, there was a closer bond with Suarez and you could still see that chemistry on the pitch after Neymar left

I see it now even after 3 pre-season matches that while Leo is still Leo, he lacks any sort of intuitive connection with his attacking teammates (Although there is possibly something there with Trincão) and that will only make things more complicated going forward when looking to either score or unlock tight matches

10 days left in the window, we'll see if he still is here both physically & mentally/emotionally
