Saw that news in several of todays papers.There are reports Team Messi have been house hunting in Miami with a target of playing for Inter Miami with Suarez (earliest in 2022)
Beckham and the Latin and South american fan base would make it the most logical destination.
I think Higuain and Matuidi are already there so money appears to be no object.
Tourists to Miami would pay well over the odds to see Messi
Going to America will be a gold mine for......Messi, MCFC will not become richer because of Messi
Messi coming to England will be a gold mine for MCFC, and him then going to NYCFC will be a goldmine for CFG.

I can understand how going into semi retirement & still getting a huge salary in the US would appeal to anyone.

And most in latin America come to Miami for vacations in the US. Climate too, would tick a lot of boxes for latin players like Leo or Suarez

Im pretty sur that some of these footballers have multiple properties in exclusive locations around the world. just keep it in preparation for if/when he does go there. ...probably means very little even if true...Im sure if he leaves Barca he will keep a property there as well and Im guessing he has at least one somewhere in Argentina as well
