So be it if he stays. It is clear we have a great squad at the moment, and I believe the priority would be to source so younger additions, that we can have for the next 5+ years.
It would have been great to snare him, but last season because of our disappointing performance in the league, it appeared a better solution. I think with this seasons performance so far, a couple of younger squad additions like Haaland etc, wiill serve us better.

We will see how it goes. It's clear our priority has to be a striker and a LB.
Messi will be a luxury signing. I have said previously, it is a no-brainer - but seeing our 21 match run + our derby defeat : ST and LB needs attention
