Bit of a side topic but where r barca and other 2 with champs lge next season???? If they lose revenue from that too they will be in even further trouble in seasons to come which will affect contracts.

"Guarantee".... that's a very strong term.

The success of the City Group has/will influence how football will be managed around Europe and maybe the rest of the world over the next ten years or more.

Don't underestimate the power of the Messi name, and don't assume that CFG won't try to create a few more shocks around the world. With Messi on board to help develop the Group and product, they would be recognised as world leaders in sport, not just football.
You just dont get it mate lol. I cba with the old "leading a horse to water" proverb today...its too hot and definitely too muggy(badumting).

Would love to see where the city group has lost 1 billion - news to anyone over here - he may have to start explaining this quickly before the men with white coats arrive - pure drivel and a smear campaign against city AND the premier league now - think he has finally bitten off more than he can chew.

Even so this belongs in the right thread and not on transfers really ?
Fuck the men in white coats. How about the men in suits and brief cases and take this Cnut to the cleaners in court enough is enough now!

You assume that the US leagues will stay as they are for the next decade or more....

Think back to 2008. You wouldn't have even dreamed of City being anywhere near where we are now, or that the rags would have £500m+ debt, or even of any possibility that La Liga, particularly Barcelona, would be in such a shit mess.

With TV rights etc, it would be quite easy to move the main focus of operations to wherever the most money was on offer. ADUG/City Group won't sit still.
Don’t see it myself.
Not with the Yank owners Sports model.
Look at their other main sports that Soccerball would be competing with. Wouldn’t be allowed happen, especially with Arab ownership.

One of the greatest footballers, who hasn't played club football outside a two-team La Liga, and is in the final years of his career....

He'll play his next club the same way he's playing Barcelona. Only City and PSG have got the funds, but only CFG have the worldwide resources for him to be involved in the long term without too much effort on his part.
Yep.
Another belter.
