Maybe he and barca are trying to hold la liga to ransom and he suddenly agrees to a 75% pay cut and some defeŕred payment cos he luvs em so much?
Or he goes to paris for his 1m per year.
As per most I think last year was right for us but now it would put our future budget in thr khazi with his wage demands
 
Messi would be a fantastic signing for the club on so many levels but we have tried previously and he’s ended up staying put,so I’m not bothered were he goes be it PSG or Barca,my only other reason for wanting him would be to see how the media react,and the scrambling by the likes of sky and Bt to shoehorn and reschedule fixtures for tv,sad I know but would be funny as fuck ..
 
Honestly if Messi still wants to come and we still want him 99% of the work has already been done. The deal could be done so quickly.

At the least it makes Spurs think.

If we get either Kane or Messi nobody is beating us. We would be terrifying.

We just have to make sure we get one of them.
