A lot was said last year that his family didn't want to leave Barcelona. Now there hand is being forced, assuming he plans to continue his football career rather than settle in Barcelona so it colluld be as simple as him putting his families wishes first and let's face it to those with no connection to Manchester the lure of Paris would win over Manchester everytime so possibly he's happy to go to PSG as that's his families preference
Could he still live in Barcelona?
Whats the flying time?
Can a helicopter do the distance?

He's not testing himself. However, from what I can see it's all about who can pay him. Sad really.
Hard to see otherwise, really. He can't say he's going to PSG to test himself in Ligue 1. I know there's a lot of fairly mediocre football played in the PL, but it is a stronger league than its French equivalent. And if he's going there to try to win the CL again, he could have nearly as much chance of that at us or Chelsea. And from what I believe, the weather in Paris can be mixed. It looks like a money driven move, if it comes off. Pity. The bloke can't be short of a few bob, large tax bills notwithstanding.

There's a funny old saying or whatever that I'm struggling to remember.

A junior speaks out against your predecessor - someone who you are positioning yourself to replace. Your natural enemy. Their complaint is very powerful and causes a lot of trouble.

Now, that ought to make you allies. What they did surely helped you. But you might still think it better this whistleblower goes too.

The one thing you know for sure is that they showed himself capable of causing great problems to the person who was sitting where you are now. And willing to do so. If they for some reason chose to do so again, it would ruin everything for you.

Why don't you want Kane?
I'd prefer a younger guy, I feel Kane could hit a wall in the next couple of years and at £150m it is a lot for two seasons worth of goals, which he will get but the chance to sign a younger striker and keep him for a 10-year legacy just appeals more to me.

I also know it isn't my money etc but we are still allowed to think it lol

This is sheer greed from Messi & Co. GOAT or no GOAT, it's a ugly spectacle.
Great player that he is he has done it surrounded by the best players of a generation in a two team leuge and taken every penny he could wring from them.
Now he wants an easier league and as much money as he can get in short a money grabbing little shite

i doubt we're giving up on kane, our top target, that easily
I don't think we're giving up on Kane, my first sentence was in regards to Messi.

I think with Kane it's just going to be very very difficult is all, I don't think the club will give up. I have no idea which way it goes, as last week I had slightly more feeling it would happen and now I'm unsure.

I think its fairly telling that Messi pretty much immediately called Pochettino rather than Guardiola after Barca released him.

Quite evident that Messi just doesnt want to join City. He only used us to extract wages for himself and to get Bartomeu out.
Hardly ever post, but how anyone thinks you are a blue is beyond me!! Grade A ball bag.

We did offer him an extra year, though, albeit with a considerable pay cut.
True. But how often would he have played? I love the guy; he provided me with the most memorable moment I've ever seen in the flesh, or am likely to see. But if he was to come on the market, can you see us tabling a bid? If we did, it'd be a surprise to me.
