I've read the espn contract with la liga is until the end of 28/29 season. $179m a year. Really isn't a concern atm

It's all irrelevant, the simple truth is that a vast majority of the image rights, shirt sales, sponsorship, endorsements go direct or indirectly into the little fellas bank account and probably an off shore one at that.
