Guardian article on bribery allegations against Barcelona and Laporta's wild, late denial of wrongdoing and nationalistic attack on Tebas.

Messi would be foolish to go back there: the club has, sadly, become an absolute basket case.

I still don't think City is a realistic option so maybe Saudi or Miami.

I think Messi believes, rightly so, he's better than the MLS our Saudi and still has plenty to prove. I think we have everything needed to get it done but do we want it? Probably not.

Id have money on Chelsea.

I just can't see Messi going to the MLS, even Saudi.

He still is one of the top 10 in Europe.

I don't know why but he screams Chelsea for me.

What would be even crazier is that he has every chance of winning the Ballon d'Or this year, many would have him as favourite. I just think it would be utterly mental for an MLS team to have the current Ballon d'Or winner and see Inter Miami as his team under his name if he wins it.

We are a club that looks to sign the next superstars, ie Haaland and Bellingham.

Let the little fella go back to his beloved Barca and spank them for even more cash.
Haaland/bellingham already proved themselves in the bundesliga.
