This is one of the only times where I am not even thinking about where/how he will fit into the team or what will be his impact. Just love being the club associated with this magician if this comes through. Sometimes trophies make you happy, but this time it is just the thought of seeing him in sky blue.
I know it's a results game eventually but I really don't care for now.

It will be jumpers for goalposts, like in the playground, plays where he wants. Who cares, I know that’s a bit silly on my part but I’m sure he will fit in just fine. I believe all the players in the team will lift their game another 10 % just because Messi is playing.. imagine the impact this could have on young Phil, he must be in dream world. I’m surprised by people getting excited at the reports that the release clause isn’t active because having the release clause or not having it has absolutely no relevance to whether we get him.
The key issues are whether he is or is not contracted to Barca and, if under contract, at what price Barca will sell him.
All the €700M clause ever provided was a level of offer above which Messi could leave, if he wanted, but Barca could always have accepted a lower offer.
If there’s no such clause, and if Messi is still contracted then Barca set the price - and if he’s not under contract then Barca have absolutely no say because he’s a free agent.
