I read somewhere that the money is to be split as per the TV right's percentage and as such Barca and Madrid get the most from the deal, however it doesn't really help Barca much as the vast majority of the new cash can't be used against wages or transfer fees.

Didn't the stop that TV arrangement a few years back? It's all academic now as they're clearly a struggling club. I can see them missing out on champions league next season. Great stuff
