Live performances you feel so lucky to have been at.

Springsteen in Roundhay Park the day Boris Becker won at Wimbledon ....it was a bastard to get out of though

Queen at Elland Road....shit support from memory it was only Joan Jett, The Teardrop Explodes and Heart - fucking boiling mind

Elton John in Leeds and the Ramones twice
Better support than we had at their Maine Road gig mate; Belouis Some then Status Quo!
I was at that Roundhay Park gig too, and my god was it special.
Went back there for the first time since then last year for a parkrun in the pissing rain, but it still felt like a special place for me.

The concert was on a really warm Sunday wasn’t it?
He came on 4.20pm and played till gone 8pm. Incredible memories of that one.

I've seen many gigs. But the one I feel lucky to have been a part of was one of Ronnie Montrose final few shows. He was absolutely on fire that night. And he would be dead by his own hand just a few months later. If I was able to show him some appreciation for a lifetime of great music. I feel privileged to have been counted among that group of people.
