Their most important isn't Coutinho, it's Firmino. So impressed with him and tbh I didn't think he'd make it in England.
Agreed. If Liverpool has a weakness it is that their press game depends on an extremely mobile and dynamic front runner. When Firmino and Lallana is out, the energy level drops.

I think we will find this out at Southampton. Can't see either Coutinho or Firmino starting as Brazil play on the Wednesday, so cutting it fine to get back fit for Saturday. Sturridge will need to step up, maybe Origi too. International football has come at just the wrong time again, halting our momentum.

Sturridge looked really hungry and sharp in his 20 minutes against Watford. Hit the post twice, was a lot more fluid in his movement, and the 6-1 goal was as much his as it was Wijnaldum's.

Would be huge if he could step up and start scoring.

When that happens (teams do it all the time) he drops deep and swap places with Can, Lallana or Wijnaldum. They run into the open space behind him. And all of the sudden someone else assists and scores.

Just like all other players are starting to do. That is the thing, Liverpool doesn't use one specific pattern or one specific player. They use constant movement and switch places, to force opponents out of position and open space. And it is slowly improving.

Time will tell but they look good now. Still think Coutinho is a bit of a flake when boots go flying around, but I don't watch that much of them, as their " supporters " are too much like Rags in attitude and the media overplays them both.

But is still so fucking full of himself and a bit of a twat imo.

He's a selfish fucker who only gives a fuck about himself.

Waddle sussed him on Sunday on 5live saying that when he gets the ball the ball in an attacking area it's finished as he will always go for glory than a pass to someone in a better position.

Yep. Sturridge will always be of the opinion that he is better than he actually is.

The twat really irritates me for some reason, and it annoys me because he isn't worth getting upset about.

Greedy bastard, full of himself , he could almost be a Rag player , except that the twats ( Swedish Ego, Haircut 100 , Granny Shagger ) they already have are even more full of themselves.

Not to mention his dance celebration, just makes me wanna punch him everytime he does that.

Liverpool like Chelsea will be a huge threat this year especially due to them not having any European football. If Pep irons out our faults though and we click we could run away with it. Aside from the first half at home against Southampton and possibly Spurs away we have been better than every team we have played so far.Even against Spurs if we had taken our chances we could have got a draw.

Oh dear I know it was nicknamed Klanfield as a joke, but I wouldn't be happy that my kit supplier is being bigged up by US white supremacists as their official sportswear choice.

Not that NB want this assocciation, but still sure Liverpool won't either.
I think it was someone on here who said that New Balance has long been associated with neo-Nazis in Germany. He discovered this when he wore an NB sweatshirt over there and got some funny looks for it!

Edit: It was the appropriately named uweuweuwe:

Bizarrely far right groups in germany and eastern Europe have latched on to companies Lonsdale and new balance as some sort of uniform. I know this as I had a new balance t shirt and wore it in Germany at my German lesson. My teacher was horrified and explained it's use in part of the far right uniform, much to bemusement of me and my English colleagues
