I was wary after the 7-1 against Rangers that it would give them and in particular hat trick man Salah confidence.Like him or not, he is world class.
Hoped our current form and introduction of a big man up front for long balls if needed, would give us too much for them but seems Klopp’s midfield press when they are on it , is too much for us.I hoped after this long playing them that the great man(Pep…which he is by the way) would have its measure by now, but it seems we always change our game and they play the same way and usually we lose.
Dont know the answer but as 95% of city fans would admit, if they were being honest, they are the team I most want to avoid in Champs League , which shames me and irritates me to say.
I think it’s just that we don’t sit back and counter like other teams do against Liverpool and that plays into there hands.
Can only hope we can smash them at home, but not confident.

I've learnt how to emotionally detach my self from this anfield fixture, I am pissed off and upset but i just accept that we won't be coming away with much there. I just hope we don't draw them in any of the other competitions there now.

Do you know if Taylor saw the shirt pull in real time?

If not, that’ll be why he changed his mind.
But we don't know, so it's irrelevant. The point is IF he did, he should have blown for the foul, and if he didn't because he couldn't see it then it wasn't a clear and obvious error so VAR shouldn't have been involved.

We’re going round in circles. We disagree. No biggie.

Night.

Salah, won’t play like that much as Nunes will be through the middle, which negates Salah.. they have to chose.. basically Nunes will be seen as a very expensive mistake in 18 months time imo.

I re-watched the 2nd half, we were excellent until the goal and were just missing the last pass. Our left side particularly, with Foden, Gundo and Bernardo (best of all) were really good. The right side was meh, with Kev really not influential and Cancelo not effective. I thought, either Kev or Haaland could be subbed for Grealish or Mahrez. We were pushing to the point of breaching their defence, but after we conceded we lost impetus and discipline and we were lucky we didn't conceded another one or two.
