Well said! - You're a good team mate Gabriel, I just wish you'd taken the penalty instead...Same player was best n the country by a mile a couple of seasons ago and is wonderfully gifted. You have attributed 3 negatives to him that are premature and unfair. If people start jumping on that bandwagon, influenced today by one penalty miss, then it isn't going to help him settle.

Did the scousers have any shots on target ? Looked like we completely nullified them you could say it was nearly a perfect game bar not getting the win...
I’m happy with that...pen miss aside.
Only one team in that and bernado was Brilliant as was the defence bar the nervy start. Blueprint for other sides going to Anfield... let “them” try and play and be structured... kudos to Pep.. he’s learnt!

The skill move by Jesus when he took out 2 dippers in the box was immense. That is the skill and talent at his disposal. It is time he unleashed it on the premiership. That is the Jesus we all want week in week out and we will reap the rewards

Jesus has a worse penalty record than Mahrez in the league with 2 missed out of 3.
Tonight’s game was however the mother of all penalties. A chance to win at anfield, three points over the next title rival, which made missing it all the more painful to take like a loss.

Christ on a bikeWith Bernardo you could see glimpses of quality. I don't think you can say the same with Mahrez.
He's predictable and continually loses the ball.
POTY 2 seasons back ffs .
He is quality and one penalty miss doesn’t suddenly make him shit .
He will be a huge influence on retaining our PL this season .

That game just confirmed what I thought earlier, Liverpool will not win the league. A team of runners with no real game plan. They look knackered already. And their back ups are a couple of levels down.

Gutted we didn't win but over the moon by the performance.
Instead of going gung ho as we sometimes do we played a more conservative game and were the better team and should have won.
All the defence were fantastic and the 2 Silva's and Fern were great.
We should have had at least one more pen when the dipper handled it but Twatkinson gave a free kick to them so he didn't need to make a decision for us.
A point against the dippers is a good result regardless, considering they have to come to the Etihad and we still have Ginger Kev to come back.
I was fuming about Mahrez missing the pen but have calmed down now.. still should have been Jesus or Bernie taking it.
Mahrez will come good but like other players who come into a much better team it will take time.
And we are still top of the league ..happy days.

Was quality and he took the game to the defence which was great to watch. Just needs to realise the ability he has and do it again

Stopped the rot at Anfield. Pity we didn’t take all 3 points but there’s been a shift in the momentum of the title race. Dippers know it’s gonna be a long haul and we have the experience required to go the whole way.

Really pissed off at missing a chance to derail the Scouse giddiness and take the wind out of their sails more than anything.

Very good away point. Looks even better if we beat them at home.
will never criticize a player for wanting to step up in that situation. Not everyone would. Just a bad penalty.
Excellent team performance and this kind of organisation in a hostile environment fills me with confidence for CL knockout ties. The boys are maturing.
