You got to love Pep. In his interview he questions Phil’s performance in the first half. He was not doing what we asked him in the first half but we he will learn said Pep. Pretty critical. He could have gone over the top how good a performance he had, but indicated Phil was not influencing the game in the first half. Very sobering comments from Pep for Phil. Exactly how you want a manager to manage, pushing Phil on to greater heights. What a manager and Phil will be better for it.

Like I posted before Pep will try Foden in that position again and will not be happy until he has mastered it, he wants all his midfielders to be interchangeable, like the old Dutch Total Football. What a game to try it out first, Pep must have enormous faith in the young man.

The closest i got to seeing us win and then having a wank at Klanfield was when big Quinny equalised for us in injury time.
2-0 down with a few minutes to go, then Mark Ward pulled 1 back before disco pants sent the away end into raptures in something like the 93rd minute

We kept in it first half without being at our best, which I think is what great teams do, then destroyed the scouse cunts in the last half hour.
