I've seen people talking about cancelo and his defending. We have to remember he's not a left back, we also have to remember that the way he is asked to play is a risk/reward scenario, there are going to be times that the risk wins, that's how we play! However, although we're gonna get caught at times the reward outweighs the risk

Also have to remember he was unjustly booked for a nothing challenge a couple of minutes earlier. On a player who shouldn’t have still been on the pitch

Very good performance by our lot marred by an incompetent ref who didnt have the balls to do his job even semi-decently

Disappointed yet okay with today. A point at Klanfield suits me when the reverse fixture is much easier, on ours and oddly their players. Hate to play in front of that mob.

Chelsea are a different machine under Tuchel; but I just think when all three are playing their best, fluid football, they're a couple of notches down.

We've had the week-from-hell fixture-wise, and yet the shots counts have been:

Chelsea 5 - 15 City
PSG 6 - 18 City
Liverpool 6 - 12 City

... with average finishing we'd have won all three comfortably. A very satisfying week, with the only worry being (as ever) how many chances we need in order to score a goal.

Just like to add, been a lot of talk about our mentality once we go a goal down. Got to give credit to the players for not letting their heads drop and coming back twice near enough straight away

Bizarrely, every dip I've seen comment on this game states they were unlucky not to get the 3 points. Only one team was unlucky today ffs.

Played 7 including dippers, spuds, chelsea and leicester away. and only 2 points behind. Great start to a very difficult start to the season
