Liverpool (A) Post Match Thread

I think these are the two best teams in the world, and the game delivered. I would have snapped your hand off for 4 points at Chelsea and Liverpool away at the start of the week, and I'm happy with that. I think we edged it as a team, and I wish we'd taken one of those big chances in the first half, but they had some individual brilliance. Still, we only have to go their once a season, and I've seen enough from us to know we are up for it this season, and that I think we will win the league.

He's not remotely a false 9 and should never play there again but you can see the quality.

To me the striker issue is quite simple. It needs to be someone who fits into our passing game and is available. Plus a player who can give us 4 to 5 years or so. Not many of those around this summer and the one who IMHO would have fitted was the one we allegedly went for. Not City's fault that Spuds weren't prepared to sell.

One great long pass to Foden shouldnt distract from standing in the wrong place for Salah’s goal (too close to the post) and then wandering at a cross, missing it to leave an opposition player with an open goal.

What a classless club. Spitting is second nature. Clearly acceptable as Carragher does it in a little girls face and amazingly keeps his high profile job. Horrible **** of a club. Milner rightly sent off and liverpool are defending and not going on the attack. Cant go at Cancelo too harshly as first half he was best player on the pitch making some wonderful passes. I should 100% happy with a point at that shit hole but am still fuming over that incompetent mess of a ref. And why the fuck was the linesman not having a fuckin word too. That **** should not ref another of our games for the foreseeable.
