It's probably taking so long as there's not going to anything even discussed until a 'committee' convenes, spends endless hours 'earning' their expenses, then reviews the case, realises it was just a minor admin error and no biggy. Then they've got to pretend they are deliberating on what the slap on the wrist should be when in reality they know in advance.
About Wednesday is my guess.
By Thursday this thread will have hit 100 pages minimum with the explosion of contrived outrage.
At the end of the month Liverpool's reserves will go out to Arsenal's reserves and there'll be another 50 pages of 'good enough for them' -v- 'disrespecting the comp'.
More entertaining than the Carabao Cup itself.

You wouldn't be saying that if you were in the final would you?I don't rate all silverware equally. FA cup is the only domestic cup that has any value, in my book. I think few people outside England cares one bit about the league cup.

Most likely they did this on purpose just so they could leave the cup without losing. Be victims of harsh ruling and save players for the league. Win-win in their own cnutitsh eyes.
