Cunts sorry to hear that mate no one have a spare you could have hadNearly home, despite assurances from our wank ticket office mine did not work so I did not get in...not a hope of getting anything sorted at Wembley....twats.
He is the common man who needs a fanfare!Who’s Emerson is he related to lake and palmer
We sign a striker. Some thoughts now I've calmed down:
Considering the team we put out, 3-2 is a pretty respectable scoreline.
Aké was great again and prevented a humiliating loss.
There's no point playing Sterling, Foden and Grealish if we're just going to fuck around with them in positions they clearly aren't used to all the time. Either we sign a striker so they can play where they're good or we sell them.
There are definitely better ways to approach rotation than just sacrificing the FA Cup at this stage every year.
Thanks, was beginning to think I'd watched a different game to almost everyone else one here. Can’t criticise the selection or the second half performance which suggested the line up was good enough to compete, the Steffen F-up killed us. I know Liverpool sat back & played on the counter but even if they where 1 up they would’ve done the same, in time we will look back and see we never won a game in one of our toughest weeks, but that won’t tell the full story, I have witnessed guts desire big balls and a will to never give in, we will need all that in the next month, time to show our support to the lads & bring home what would be a special double
Everyone seems to have forgotten we've already signed Julian Alvares from River Plate. Seems to be very highly rated. We sign a striker.
Lineker said Jesus should have gone round the keeper as it would have have been "dead easy"......Finally a sensible comment. Overall they didn't have any more chances to speak of than we did. And while few like to admit it they closed us down extremely well in the first half. It was always going to be tough if they were up for it, and they were.
Could have done without the mistake by Steffen but it happens, but more inexplicable for me was why Jesus didn't try and chip the keeper. We're always poor at one on ones. We didn't do enough going forward in the first half and did look very jaded. Emerson nearly let one in on Wednesday but got away with it.
Remember next season we have Alvarez who seems to be very highly rated, and hopefully Haaland.
True. And we sign (another) striker ;-)Everyone seems to have forgotten we've already signed Julian Alvares from River Plate. Seems to be very highly rated.

Come on mate, you cannot polish a turd. Not allowed! :)Some thoughts now I've calmed down:

Allison regularly makes mistakes and gave the ball away a few times today. Our keeper made a mistake and got punished. All other things aside they always seem to be lucky that way.Yep.
To which I would simply add — and I still think Zak's pretty good as a back-up keeper — they were playing their world-class keeper, we weren't playing ours.
You're anything less than a top-class keeper, you get found out against this lot. You don't against Peterborough and Fulham.
Quiet? When we've been there more or less twice a season for the last eleven years its bound to be effected compared to a team that rarely gets there. I'm guessing you were not at the 2011 game against trafford, when I doubt if there has been any club louder than we were that day.Disgusting from our fans who disrespected the minutes silence.shame on you. Fair result. Bad day at the office. Our fans were very quite today. Totally out sung
Sam I think your right, best sacrificing the cup from the 3rd rd, play academy team and have done. We drag out this stupid dance it harms us. Best play fewer games if we haven't got the squad to win these domestic semi's...what is the point otherwise?Come on mate, you cannot polish a turd. Not allowed! :)
Honestly, I’m not one to criticise but that was horrendous. You just don’t start with this XI against Liverpool. What’s the point progressing into the final stages of cups if we keep throwing them away like this? Why wait until after the 80th minute to throw in players who can influence the game. Besides Foden’s instant impact after coming on in the first leg against AM, what’s going on with his dip in form. Grealish not doing enough to start in a game like this. Zinchenko not getting much game time lately really showed today. Anyone else bothered to run as hard as Bernado was?
Every City fan at the stadium today deserves a refund. Liverpool weren’t even anywhere near their best. Yet we have to rotate keepers because it’s a “cup tie”. As far as I’m concerned, we’ve probably got Liverpool thinking they can seriously go and get the quadruple from here.
I hope this doesn’t shatter our confidence and affect us keeping our heads in the league and CL. I’ll love them again tomorrow morning but that was seriously infuriating and we’ve only got ourselves and poor game management to blame for it.
Yes we were quite today and we got outsung. I’ve no excuses for our minority idiots. Every club has them. Can’t take their ale don’t drinkQuiet? As for the disrespect for the minutes silence, I believe it was fans coming in late who had no idea it was happening.
We've proved in the past we respect these, especially the Munich anniversary at OT when the whole world thought we'd do otherwise.
YesWere you there?
Do they have a minute's silence for Heysel?33 year Anniversary! What’s that about, how long will it go on for?
