Since Guardiola became manager we’ve won 3, drawn 3 and lost 1 at home.

Even the solitary loss wasn’t a normal game, as they got the winner as we were pushing forward like crazy trying to turn round a three goal first leg loss.
And we had that **** Lahoz send Pep off at half time for complaining that a legitimate goal should not have been disallowed!

Which games did we lose that mattered? say ended up us losing the league because of it or a trophy!
They all matter, this fixture is as big as the derby now. On the day of the game, today, what will end up happening come June next year doesn’t matter the only thing that matters is this game.

Big drop in City's odds this morning-with a similar drift in Liverpool's.

Either we are going stronger than expected, or they are weaker.
Is that just a result of the England and Portuguese players returning to training yesterday, rather than inside knowledge of the starting XIs?

If Klopp had any conviction he would stick to his usual approach of 5-7 teenagers and a few fringe players.

Pep’s record against them is:
P18 W5 D5 L8 W%27.7

In the last 7 it’s been:
P7 W1 D3 L3 W%14.3

We’ve not won any of the last 5 against them, we’ve lost the last 3.

We often shit ourselves against this lot, the team are as bad as our boardroom when it comes to bowing down for the cunts.
I'm not sure it's that concerning.

We've played them four times in a short space of time (today will be 5 of our last 25 domestic matches being v Liverpool), and lost three of them, but they were all pretty close. We could easily have won both league games, the FA Cup game was their first team against out patched up 11, and they were clearly peaking (too early) physically in the Community Shield.

Before the second string FA Cup game last season, Liverpool had won once in nine games against us.

I think Pep had pretty much worked them out, to the point where we were a little overconfident at Anfield this season.

Who knows? But a sharp movement in odds is usually more indicative.

I read an article somewhere that suggested Klopp was going to play some fringe players-so perhaps its a combination of those things.

Be nice just to have one game against them where we are officiated fairly, seems to always be major decisions going their way in every game with them also being allowed to foul at will. Dont Think Var is in use tonight and David Coote as ref

Looking at:

Kelleher
Milner, Gomez, Matip, Robertson
Thiago, Bajetic, Elliott
Salah, Firmino, Nunez
