With the exception of Aguero who is returning from injury, he has started the 11 best players we have.

Larporte and Walker can use their speed to protect Otamendi on counters, and we have passers everywhere except RCB and Left-wing.

I have no complaints. While I didn't suggest a team coz I've been bummed all week.

I definitely could have played this team. Which means lots of our traditional fans are not going to be happy :)

After seeing that line-up, I’m going to bypass the alcohol in the house & going straight to heroin.

I suplose its something different but that's a very very bizarre lineup, either a winger at left back or two wingers as wingbacks which means leaving us exposed in the one area Liverpool are strongest in. If it somehow works Pep will rightly be labelled an absolute genius but if it doesn't, he will equally rightly be crucified for it.

Having another look at it, i think it's going to be 3 at the back in possession with the two wingers as wingbacks and crowding the midfield to help play around the press, then out of possession it will be a 4 with fernandinho dropping in the middle, KDB taking his place and Laporte and Walker spreading wide to what has become our standard formation.

You a coach at City? ;)

Massive shout to the home support tonight. Pissed that i couldnt go to help cheer the team onto victory to get through this tie.

Sing loud and proud Blues and lets help the boys get the job done

well pep knows its going to be very difficult to keep a clean sheet, so might as well start with a "we gotta score five" mentality

I watched the second half of the first leg on mute. I don't wanna miss hearing the atmosphere at ours but if needs be I'll do it again.
I watch most City games on mute unfortunately, I just can't listen to commentators like Tyler completely dilute the wonderful football we play with his perpetually underwhelmed tone of voice.

Even more fuming about the derby now.

Why start a weakened team in the derby if we're going to play that experimental team tonight?

No Aguero starting is a head scratcher.

Plus: Where's Mendy? He's been in training for weeks!
Pep is waiting for the doctor to say he’s fit to start as he’s said several times.
