Liverpool (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

I respect those that say 'stop worrying about the half&half tourists and enjoy the game', but yesterday in CBL3, row C, which is where I have sat since the Etihad opened - I have never seen so many tourists/secret scousers in my life - many clearly from overseas. It was like being at the Community Shield. A good chunk of regular SC holders were there too, but being surrounded by so many iphone-recording, half&half wearing, non-Blues just ruins the atmosphere...its the same this season at so many away games - where the fuck are the touts getting so many tickets. Thnk I will lose my shit if I see a tourist at Luton away...
Blues selling for a quick buck? Who is to blame..buyer or seller?

It certainly wasn't a rerun of that great match at the Etihad in 2018-19 season. City lacked their usual sparkle - I thought Phil and Julian were particularly flat though certainly not poor - and to be fair Alisson's curious performance may be in some part attributable to travel and the transfer window. Few players, if any, were anywhere near the top of their game. But we should have won and created enough chances to do so. The disallowed goal was soft in the extreme. I knew straight away it would be ruled out I couldn't for the life of me see any real reason why. No free kick would have been awarded anywhere else on the pitch. But it is also worth saying that Klopp could refresh his team with all 5 substitutes: Pep really had none he could bring on.

When he was fit, he led their midfield. Picked out great passes from distance.

But, also, Leeds played him unfit and just coming back from injury. Unless the injury was surgical, he played.

That's how I seem to remember it.
The problem is Leeds England and Man City are levels apart and even though at Leeds and England he plays great and is good at what he does he is nowhere good enough to even be on City’s bench let alone the first 11 . We need him gone asap as he is just wasting a space for us .
