Liverpool (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

This was a shit football game , we were nowhere near our best , the overall quality of the match was poor , the Dippers offered little and only two of their players would get near our squad , we have been underwhelming so far this season , fully expect us to kick into gear in January , but i am beginning to realise what a massive fuck up it was to let Gundo leave , it is costing us points.

I thought it was a decent game and at times in the first half we were light years ahead of them. Bad decisions in the final third costs us and the ref disallowing the Dias goal.

I agree on the Gundo point but he was out of contract we couldn't force him to stay. He's left a big hole in midfield nobody has come close to filling. I wonder if we thought we had Bellingham coming so didn't fight as hard to keep him?

Bullshit
No way that goal should have been disallowed.
In terms of fairness - no it shouldn't have been disallowed.
In terms of the laws of the game - it's a crappy not fit for purpose law - and under that shit law it should have been ruled out unfortunately.

So far matches against Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal brought poor results and good results versus rags and Newcastle. Take six points from next two matches an dill be delighted, but two difficult fixtures. That game was screaming out for KDB or even Gundogan (unfortunately)

On a positive note, the second goal should have stood, but ....

Stones is due back very soon and KDB is back soon.

That'll put the wind up the other title contenders.

The match against the victims on 9th March could be key, City will deliver, I'm sure.

probably over reacted due to the disappoiting result , eight hours later and stilled pissed off we didnt smash the scouse scum , it wasnt a shit game , but it was a shit result

The positives - this was Liverpool close to their new improved best and was us at nowhere near our best but we were still the better more attacking side. We hit too many inexplicable wayward passes in attacking areas.

To me, there was more than a bit of international fatigue plus all the travel in that performance. Rest a few on Tuesday and come back fresh for Spurs. On top of that, we're coming through the toughest set of closely spaced fixtures we'll face all season. I'm not worried.

KDB plays today and we absolutely smash those bin dipping cunts. They’re nowhere near the team they used to be with Mane and firminho

More KDB. We miss him. He creates something from nothing and scores great goals from outside the box too, something most of the other players struggle with.

I know mate my feelings too and probably every other Blue. It feels like a loss because for the majority of the game we were much the better side and it's two points thrown away.
