He could have been sat on the bench and had just as easy game.VVD won't have an easier afternoon.

You've got to do something when you're back on the market.Pep doesn’t look himself these days

true but if only the rest had a start productIf only Doku had an end product
I’m actually shockedWell you know it's bad when @LangleyBlue1970 says something was bad. Foden was horrendous.
Spitting is a typical scouse greeting, nothing to see there....Tv went off bang on full time no time for the child spitter
That is the number one thing our squad is lacking at present - it's exactly what they need to hear for the moment IMHO.............Pep thought we played "really good"
While I agree we don't quite have the players who can actually step up in place of Foden.Foden so poor. The plus is Khusanov. He is going to be an absolute rock. For years.
I find that screaming at the telly helps and he doesn't do it again...Possibly, with the derby though, I thought we were the better team and but for two almighty cock ups we would have won the match. Today, I thought we got away with a 0-2 defeat and l’pool, could have gone into another gear and wiped the floor with us. Let’s face it, we all knew exactly how the match was going to pan out only a minute and a half in with Gvardiol’s customary misplaced pass just 10 yards off our own 18 yard box, I almost screamed at the telly when he did that.
He will not be far away from it tbh . Just hope he’s gone after this season as he as been ithe best player in Europe by a mile this season whether you like it or not .Sly post match analysis is the Egyptian Diver luv in. Talking him up for the Balon Dor.
Until his next match….I find that screaming at the telly helps and he doesn't do it again...
It doesn't send out a good message if you're fighting for 4th/ 5th spot. Sentiment doesn't win anything . I'm surprised at that actually . It's OK to say that in the final game of the season but not after you've been beaten by your rivals. How can any manager send out a message saying, it's ok to be 2nd best this season because of what we have won in the past, Pep is the best manager in the world and letting players know its OK to lose is the biggest mistake in his career at City,
Being 2nd best is OK after the final game is played and you come up short, But saying in mid-season Kills any hope of winning the bigger games l
We're we so so so good?Like every week
It's not the winning 5 in a row or 6 in a row. Can’t believe that you can possibly come out with all this crap. Did you really think that City would win 5 in a row, then 6 in a row. When you have watched City for as long as I have, you become a realist. These things don’t last forever and every single team will go through a period like this. I agree that today wasn’t a fantastic performance, but I our circumstances it could have been worse. Pep has done so much for this club and believe me, he will be a hard act to follow. You don’t seem to be able to offer the name for a replacement manager, so don’t be upset if we bring in Sean Dyche.
They didn't really need to play well though, did they? They knew their defence is effective, and would keep on snuffing us us out just long enough for them to add a couple of goals and knock us out!The frustrating thing is I think Liverpool are bang average. They didn’t play well, we just didn’t fucking remotely get into the game.
It really pisses me off.
That’s the worst Liverpool team we’ve played in 10 years and we made it piss easy for them.
Absolutley! They've given us years of magnificent times and endless trophies. It's sad to see kev and gundo like this, just like it was with yaya....nowt u can do when your legs go.... one season too far for most of these guys it seems.........but I think we've made a decent start in rebuilding in the jan window....we need another good summer window and I don't think we'll be a million miles away from being a top side again. We just need the right players in the centre of the park....its a cliche but games really are still won and lost in midfield and ours just has run out of steam. But I trust us to get things right in the future! :-)I saw a lot to feel positive about today, a lot is about injuries and confidence, and it seems some of our former heroes have reached the home straight of the marathon, but the new signings show promise, and Savinho and Doku will continue to improve, so I am quite optimistic that this is a dip rather than a chasm.
