Not being from either city helps me see that both are as bad or good as each other.
Regardless of who’s favourite, we now have what looks like a proper title fight and that’s better than the procession from last year.

Well of course last season depends on your perspective, after watching for over 60 years it was football heaven. I get it that for those behind us it must have been tough

so it would make little sense not to compare.

Walking back to the car with the lad across Ashton Old Road and some big dirty Range Rover almost reverses into us, luckily we saw his reverse lights at the last second.

I shouted "watch it", so imagine my surprise when a scouse accent shouted "well watch where you're going then."

After politely telling him he was the one actually parked on the entire pavement, instead of the road, and then me giving a less than polite fuck off!

And I responded to this to simply point out you dont necessarily have to have contact to be sent off lawfully

Vinny was making a genuine attempt to play the ball. All this talk of scissors and studs up means little when there is barely any contact, used less force than Lovren too

Saw the lineups in concourse b4 the game and thought at the time that Klopps
selection of Henderson was a huge mistake and particularly paired with Milner.

It seems clear now that KDB wasn't getting on the pitch unless we were 5:0 up.
David Silva was maybe no more than 50%, so the win without those pair on the
pitch @ 100% was testament to a great team performance last night. Hopefully
we can have these two @ 100% very soon. GD could be critical this year so need
to maximise this whilst balancing fitness and potential injuries. Maybe PEP has
been keeping Foden for second half of season when CL Knockout starts & needs
to rotate more versus mid table teams and or post 60 mins to reduce fatigue on
first choice options. There are no easy games in the second half of the season
as Liverpool will find out soon enough. Hopefully, we will be at almost full strength
in the near term and then have the strength in depth to fight across all four fronts.

His son got some shooting. Sterling shooting has improved massively but every now and then it seems there is kind of a mental block that shows his head. It has more to do with the mental side of things than ability to shoot i reckon.

To be honest, it could have gone either way. If Van Dijk had done similar to Kun, this place would have gone into meltdown.

The world of football has gone fucking mad when a perfect tackle, that wins the ball, is now classed as a “borderline red”. Fucking nonsense.

It was a superb tackle, proved by Vince taking the ball cleanly, and shouldn’t have been even a free kick, except for this nonsense world we live in now where you can’t make a decent tackle.
