Liverpool (H) - Post-Match Thread

Pedestrian double pivot, a knackered and then for the last 15 clearly injured Kev, then toothless in attack.

Sort the defence out finally and now we can't score more than a goal a game.

Something needs to click soon up top.

Could be like our 2014 title win. Start slow and only hit the top when it matters. Could do with a statement win at spuds but another draw would be ok, especially if Leicester get something at Klanfield

Forgive me if I'm repeating anything
I know it's "every German's dream" to play for the German rags, but we should have moved heaven and earth to keep Sane, and flogged Sterling to the highest bidder. Too many touches, gives the opposition that crucial half a second to adapt. Sterling gives the opposition that opportunity. Sane didn't.
That chance in the first half SHOULD have been buried

It is also why the entire season should be played behind closed doors.. imagine going to Anfield at the back end of the season and playing them in front of their fans and there being zero point difference between the clubs.. it needs to be totally fair.

That said I think there is zero chance of fans in stadiums this season.

Totally agree with you about a fair playing field, but as city have said themselves no chance this season. I would also bet it will be the 2022/2023 season before we see the Etihad have any type of real attendance.

Sane didn't play that way for some time.

No excuse not to bring foden on. Pep has been moaning about fitness and how tough of a season it’s going to be then uses one fucking sub a game.

You are mental.

When Sane scores 30 in a season in all competitions talk to me. He is also injured a lot. Sterling whilst admittedly struggling for form is never injured and will put up much higher numbers than Sane will this season and the next and the next. At the end of their careers it will be like comparing David Silva and Juan Mata.
