Liverpool in Pot 2 in next season's CL, Where do we go?

We are well above them in the rankings (City 72.921 v Liverpool 58.921) and it will get better next year. It's based on points awarded for your European performance over the last 5 years and their best year (2009/10 - 24.585 points) will drop off next year meaning they need to get to the QF's just to stand still. We only lose just over 3 points from 2009/10 so if we do at least as well as this season, we pick up a net 20 points.sam-caddick said:Mad Eyed Screamer said:

As far as I understand if Bilbao finishes 4th ahead of Sevilla then it's 99% Pot 2 for #LFC. If Arsenal don't make Top 4 then it's 100%.

They'll be in pot three and basically exit the CL by Christmas.

Pot one will be pretty much this:
Bayern, Barca, Real, Atletico, Chelsea, Arsenal, Benfica and one more team. It will be Porto or Schalke, if Porto reaches CL places in Portugal its them. If they dont its Schalke.
Arsenal will reach it, even if Everton looks dangerous but them losing to Palace at home few days ago, kinda killed their chances...
Well Arsenal still have to play a tie for the group stage but they will meet lot weaker team there usually.
