That's not how it works, it's not limited to Champions League performances. It's a UEFA points system and you can win almost as many points in the Europa League. For instance, in the year Fulham got to the Europa League final, they got 26.585 points which is more than the the 26.328 points the rags got this year for getting to the quarter finals of the Champions League. If Liverpool had done well in the Europa League for the past four years, they'd have more points than us.

I don't know but I will be fuming if we are in pot three.

We have a higher coefficient than Liverpool so will be above them, unless UEFA deem it as our 'punishment' for FFPR

They will be ushered in to pot 2 believe me.

Pot one will be pretty much this:

Bayern, Barca, Real, Atletico, Chelsea, Arsenal, Benfica and one more team. It will be Porto or Schalke, if Porto reaches CL places in Portugal its them. If they dont its Schalke.
Arsenal will reach it, even if Everton looks dangerous but them losing to Palace at home few days ago, kinda killed their chances...
Well Arsenal still have to play a tie for the group stage but they will meet lot weaker team there usually.

You haven't heard the UEFA rule change then, that allows them into next season's CL because 'they are call Man Utd'
