Cancelo didn’t look in the slightest interested in defending against Salah….played like a #7
Yes Walker didn’t have a great game either, but he wasnt helped by Mahrez who was shocking IMO

Voted Alvarez, just for his goal. Foden looked reasonably sharp, and Ake had a decent second half, but no-one else really comes out of it with any credit imo.

None of them anywhere near match ready and it showed , Ake has done well but we need a fully fit Stones and Dias partnership ASAP.

Knee jerk reactions as always. Liverpool's fitness was clearly ahead of ours, and on top of what was probably a very hard weeks training, we looked leggy. Haaland now realising the difference in intensity between here and germany, but have no worries about him this season. Definitely need Cucurella though.

It was a pretty poor performance all round. cant say anyone stood out other than Alverez who came on late in the game, he looked sharp! Got to say the others majority of the game where very average. Back 4, extremely dodgy. But you defend as a team, dont think considering we only played a couple of friendly's that our fitness levels were up to scratch. In all honesty i expected a performance like we got and we have recently started slow. Today didnt count, next week does!!.

Ake for me. He played well the whole game, others did in parts. Kev, Ruben, Mahrez and Haaland all not yet fit but all did some good and bad things. Very excited about Alvarez
