You would think so, and what of any wider activity carried out by Liverpool FC?
They should want to clear their name, because when you start to think about this, there are players that Liverpool could have acquired which affected the outcome of games, and led to relegations etc. It undermines the whole game. It is something that the authorities have to look at.
We've got them either way here. If they don't do anything, then Football's authorities are exposed as biased, which is the basis of City's UEFA / CAS case, and if they do investigate, then if the allegations are substantiated, Liverpool will get absolutely hammered.
