Liverpool Post Match Thread

I've seen better performances under the Pee-Arse regime. I could have sworn before kick off that the Ardwick Hippodrome had long ago been demolished.

The world and his dog knew how the Dippers would set up today. Dortmund in red.

And why do we not make a serious challenge until they are a yard or so outside our penalty area.

Pellers cocked this one up before kick-off.

Unless we play teams who stand off, allow us to play, and all goes well with our 'stars', we seem bereft of ideas as to how we go about carving out the three points.

Ordinary teams, with little attacking threat, can negate our cutting edge ever so simply. Any team with a counter threat near have the three points put on a plate for them. If Pellers is not gonna address opposition threat during the week and puts all his eggs in the City attacking juggernaut basket, then the game is up.

Mancini would not have lost that 1-4!

Should never have sacked him

Haven't read the thread but here's my take.

MP set us up like cunts today. A 2 man midfield of Toure and Fernando against a team with bodies in midfield and pace on the counter is not just unprofessional, it's reckless.

To set up like that when our Centre Back pairing is heavily compromised is fucking suicidal.

It looked wrong immediately and felt even wronger within 5 minutes when it was clear we had absolutely no control of not just the midfield, but ourselves.

Then to compound it even further, Fernandinho and Delph were brought on, being clearly available, so why the fuck didn't at least one of them start in a 3 man midfield?

He's either severely underestimated Liverpool or he's lost his mind.

Positives were Aguero's return and great goal, some of KDB's play and Delph who I thought was fucking fantastic when he came on - he was like a fucking man possessed. How we could've done with him from the start.

When a top team, a title-challenging team, has an off day they lose but they don't get battered like that. Toure looked like a three-legged donkey, the defence was terrifyingly bad, the play was breaking down everywhere. Truly awful. Think Delph might be worth an extended run in the starting 11.

Made a couple of great saves but overall poor imo.

That's what I thought. Two saves that should have been goals. Saved us from a potentially embarrassing scoreline but some very doubtful distribution, and we are getting a couple of shite clearances a game. But not only Hart! Too many of the starting eleven barely made a contribution today. And I include those sitting in the management seats.

1 inept performance
Im not counting West Ham

SHIT HAPPENED TODAY
Yeah its disappointing but we're not in the position Chelsea are in and they are defending champs!
