Tell you what then lets get those games replayed im sure the Fa will let us and allow usto win
SAY IT AGAIN
SHIT HAPPENS!
If you expect us to waltz thru the season hammering everyone you are wrong

Shit does indeed happen, but it is the quality of the shit and the effort the shit shovelers are puttin in shoveling the shit that people are objecting to. Anyone who has followed City long enough has long since been used to losing, but the manner in which members of this squad, arguably the best we've ever had, turn up with highly questionable performances, is the thing that is sticking in people's gullets.

That's all well and good but we all know Pellers will make the same mistakes over and over until he eventually leaves the club.
Maybe, maybe not. As good as it may feel short term, I don't think it's time to throw the baby out with the bath water.
We've seen ourselves rally from tough, nigh impossible odds near to the reckoning end of the season and we've seen ourselves fold. Right now, due to injuries we have a lot of variables between knowing for sure that such major change is required.
We have seen Pellers and core members of the playing staff keep on going and overtaking foes who seemed home and dry.
We are nowhere near either scenario yet, so stability would appear a very sensible choice no matter how peed off we are at this point.
My money is on us being still in a good position to win from the end of February should we keep the current setup and focus.
Sacking now is a major gamble and not one that most objective people would risk. Given our trajectory, we do not need to apply desperate tactics any more.

Just my opinion of course.

Looking on the bright(ish) side; I have an excuse not to stay up to watch MOTD tonight. A cup of Horlicks, a quick half an hour on youporn ebay and then a good night's kip. Lovely. Thanks Manuel.

Never makes excuses, never blames players.

First time Ive left a match early for about 10 years. Couldn't stomach any more of the shambles before my eyes

One of the most inept manager performances I've ever seen

Our best two players for the past month have been Otamendi and Fernandinho. The silly old coont thinks it's a good idea to drop both and prioritise a dead rubber CL game and play a centre half 2 years past his sell by date

After 60 mins we're on top and if we score the next goal there's a great chance we get at least a draw. The silly old coont thinks it's a good idea to take off the best striker in Europe and put on a kid

Baffling ... And I just wish there was a manager available now to step in and replace the silly old coont

dead rubber CL game

Give over mate.

I don't mind losing, it's the manner of defeat which is hard to take.

Fed up of the players thinking they just have to turn up and stroll around and that's enough. No work rate and no desire.

Something seriously wrong with our mentality.

And don't get me started on the team selection
What are your thoughts on the team selection? ;)

Out paced all game - by a Liverpool team that were more than willing to work at winning. We weren't. We adopt a predictable 'steady pace' approach to games, regardless of the opposition, and we come unstuck far too often.

When Liverpool won the ball in midfield, their entire team knew the plan - break with pace. On the rare occasion we had the ball, we played a pedestrian game again - except Liverpool were on top of us so quickly, it forced countless errors from us.

The number of goal kicks and throw-ins when we are struggling to find a City player who wants the ball is worrying.

Yaya can do some amazing things, but those amazing moments are so few and far between, they are starting to come at the expense of a very weak midfield.

Liverpool were very very good today, and we can't take anything away from the job they did.

It's beginning to look like any team willing to put in a a real shift against us stands a chance of getting something from the game, and woe betide us if we are less than 100% - in that case, we stand to lose. All the skill and flair in the world will only get us so far. We're lacking in grit and guile.
