Liverpool Post Match

we need to get alladyce quickly before west am offer him another contract.
sams teams never get relegated

Very poor performance considering Liverpool played Thursday night,we have been constantly moaning the injuries which have prevented us playing kompany, toure, silva and aguero together for any length of time.now it happens we put in a performance like that, have to say Liverpool showed more desire to get the three points and fully deserved them,we need to make sure we finish second or third, and at the moment that's not a given, with a chasing pack desperate for champions league football next season..

Haven't read past the 1st page of this thread.

Really disappointed. For me, there just seems to be no desire - forget 442 or 451 but what was the point of taking Dzeko off if we then don't press in midfield?

Liverpool wanted it more and we let them.

We won it because Newcastle were poor, get with it.

If thats your reason for the 5-0 result against Newcastle you should just go watch the Rags. Sorry to hear that we were very poor that day and only won 5-0.
Jesus, your still not getting it. I will spell it out. In the context of the other games I mention there I am trying to say that 'yes we won it 5-0' but because Newcastle were poor, not City.

I did get that point about Newcastle being poor. But thats a stupid excuse to undermine how we played. Anyways let it be. If a 5-0 doesn't make you think the team played well, I give up hope.

It's not just the system it's the players in it, Nasri offers fuck all, Silva takes little kit Kat moments, Kompany has been off form for some time, Zabba is blue through and through but is limited, yaya is half the player he was, I keep hearing ffp has had an effect, I disagree, it's the way our money was spent, Fernando, Mangala, Fernandinho, Jovetic, Caballero, Bony, are a waste of money at a time when we should of been prudent. Compare it to Hazzard, Costa, Fabregas, Courtois, Matic. It's a joke.

really looks like a poorer season than bobby mancs last..interesting summer

He didn't. He wanted to bring him in at 1:1 but when they scored he introduced Bony.

I understand that - but blaming the guy for what he WANTED to do? I myself would have been more for going for it, but I can see the thought process for trying to get a point out of Klanfailed away at that point in the match.

He was more likely to have pushed Yaya up front and used Fernando as a holding player and gone or the win

Sorry I meant taking Dzeko off + he considered bringing Nando on. However I still don't think either was the right move at the time.

Truly abysmal performance - devoid of fight, courage, compusure and quality. Sobering to see - again - how quickly our game goes to shit as soon as we're put under any kind of pressure high up the pitch. Genuinely can't recall seeing such a ragged performance from us in possession - misplaced passes, aimless fucking thumps forward, wildly overhit long balls. Atrocious.

There's a real malaise in the squad in terms of attitude - no sign of any desire even in the last 10 minutes or so. Summed up by Mignolet taking a goal kick in about the 90th minute, and Sturridge being able to walk off the front, bring the ball down on his chest and turn utterly unmolested. Inexcusable at any level - fucking embarrassing for a team supposedly going for the title.

Kit Kat moments?

I think very much like today, city were terrible more than Liverpool being great.

Today is the first time I've really struggled to take anything positive. We looked completely devoid of actually giving a fuck. Vinnie, yaya, Nasri stood out today as being overly dire.
The thing that I found most disapointing was the way we panicked on the ball. We have never played so many long balls, most of them aimless lumps forward. For me the manager has told them to do something different today and for me jd takes full responsibility.
