Everyone in the thread is talking about 'challenging for fourth'. Everyone within City are talking about challenging for the title.

TBH, this season should be one where, if we 'fail', we have the backdrop of CL football next season. I don't think its unfair to expect us to start delivering this season.

City will not challenge for the title much as I would like us to do. We're simply not good enough.....yet. That said a CL should be achievable but only if this new team knits together ASAP.

Liverpool coming into cash is bad news whatever way you look at it. Apart from the name they also have relatively decent kudos having won major European honours not in the too distant past. Top class players will become interested again once they realise that they are no longer on the slippery slope to ruin......
