I'm not sure we can ascertain that from the video - we can't exactly see what's going on inside the cab.He didn’t, you can see that from the video. Thankfully he got very lucky though.

It would have been a hell of a mess. I don't envy the people having to deal with that. Certainly a smell that never leaves you.I'm not sure we can ascertain that from the video - we can't exactly see what's going on inside the cab.
Is your new business venture some sort of device for catching people at the bottom of a flight of stairs by any chance?Impossible to stop every single attack without destroying every single civil liberty in the country and even then they can’t stop lone wolf attacks.
Let’s face it, you’re 100x more like to die falling down the stairs than you are being killed in a terrorist attack.
It doesn't help when people in official positions say things like this (from bbc.co.uk) ...
"Joanne Anderson, the mayor of Liverpool, confirmed to BBC Radio 4's Today programme that the taxi driver involved prevented an "awful disaster" through heroic actions.
She said it was known he had got out of the car and locked the doors before the explosion happened - but she did not want to get drawn into further speculation."
Ok, we’ll wait and see what comes out down the line but you can certainly see the device has gone off before the taxi driver gets out.I'm not sure we can ascertain that from the video - we can't exactly see what's going on inside the cab.
