Liverpool terror attack

Sorry this is just daft. It's like saying levantine arabs can't be antisemites because they are also semites, or "I'm not homophobic because I'm not scared of homosexuals but I still like giving them a good hiding".

Words can have different definitions besides the "common sense" obvious one that one might assume.

In my first year of my degree I can remember a lecturer stating that using dictionary definitions for essays was wrong and it was correct to refer to definitions in subject source materials.

If you need extra incentive to consider why you are wrong, maybe ask yourself why Onslow is liking your post?
Think we can all agree that Religion in what ever form has caused more trouble over the years than it has done good.

Well, I am @Fode N The Hole phobic!
Your simile in the second sentence is not vaguely analogous and the first sentence is bonkersly irrelevant.
So you would say my objection to theistic religion is religiophobic even tho it is based on logic and evidence, rather than irrational fear or prejudice?

Maybe start a thread discussing politicised language if you feel so strongly, rather than take the moderator's general request to refrain from bigotry and insinuation as a direct criticism and derail the thread.

Police saying that the driver picked up the passenger in Rutland Avenue and he requested that he was taken to Liverpool Women's Hospital, so other speculation is unfounded.

Also as others have pointed out the bomb (detonator) went of a split second before the vehicle had stopped and the driver exited the taxi shortly afterwards.

Ah but there aren’t just steps in a house are there?

Think about it. You spend ten years living in a bungalow and then head into a building with steps and the lift is broken. Your time in a bungalow has made you soft, you’ve forgotten how to safely traverse them.

It may be more dangerous for bungalow dwellers in the long run.
But surely even if you live in a bungalow you walk through the front door and you have steps going up to the bedroom.

Well so Dion Dublin told me.

The UK's terror threat level has been raised from "substantial" to "severe", meaning an attack is now judged to be "highly likely
