Has done well without Gerrard in the team, I reckon he can be a bit overawed by Gerrard and happy to play a bit part in support of him.

Much better in the last few weeks but for me has a long way to go.

Yeh not having Stevie there has helped him stand a few inches taller, he's not afraid to hand out a bollocking here and there either.

The good thing is that he's not reached his ceiling yet, might actually turn out to be worth £20m

Similar situation to Milner at City. His best position would be in the centre of midfield bursting forward into the box, but City have other players in that area so he gets used as a utility player or out wide.

A lot of young players come into Utd, Arsenal or whatever top team, and the media goes into overdrive

Henderson and Barkley are perhaps worth the hype. Wilshere is not

ive been saying this for ages only now people are starting to see it Henderson has been playing Top quality football.. Hes obviously not on silvas level and he has a totally diff style But ! him and barkley would cause havoc for teams..

The age old issue of English players being over priced & over hyped. Thankfully I think Rodgers has saved Hendersons career. I think Henderson is a little more technical than Milner, similar work ethics though.

Henderson is being used as the midfielder bursting through the middle at the moment, working in between the midfield & defence, very very effective with the quality around him making the runs.

I read on the gossip column this morning that Barkley is worth £80m+ that is INSANE for a player that's shown promise, typical media bullshit. Hope the lad stays grounded and doesn't sell out to Manure anytime soon.

Maybe I haven't watched him closely enough, but all I see is a small Phil Jones (without the gurning).
Lots of effort but little evidence of all the alleged hype.

He's been serviceable at best until the last two weeks when he's been very good.

Fun fact: Usually the EPL club top of the table by Christmas has won the trophy in the last four seasons. However the last team to top it by Christmas and not win were Liverpool 2008-09 :p
